DIGITECH was established to provide CAD CAM services to overseas clients in the mechanical Engineering domain. The DNC software they developed, called "WIN-COM," is compatible with all types of CNC control systems. The CNC machines are connected to Moxa's NPort Series Serial Device Servers to transmit data, and the DNC software, WIN-COM, is uploaded from a remote computer.
NPort Series 8-/16-port Serial Device Servers are installed at a suitable location on the factory floor, and CNC machines are connected to NPort Serial Device Servers with RS-232 cables via DIGI-ISOLATORS, an optical isolator made by DIGITECH. NPorts are then connected to the existing LAN on the factory floor, using standard RJ45 connectors and CAT-5 cables.
