IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 Certified for
Excellent RFI/EMI Immunity
Moxa's PowerTrans series of substation Ethernet switches comply with IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613, and are capable of protecting against electrical surges, EMI, and other environmental threats. These proven Ethernet switches also comply with NEMA TS2 for traffic control equipment, in addition to EN50155 and EN50121-4 standards for railway applications.
Wide Temperature Tolerance
Substation and other industrial environments can experience extreme temperatures. Moxa's rackmount Ethernet switches are designed for completely fanless operation, and provide flawless performance in the wide temperature range of -40 to +85°C.
Maximum Network Uptime
PowerTrans switches ensure the highest level of reliability through RSTP/STP (IEEE 802.1W/D) and Gigabit Turbo Ring technology, which offers network fault recovery in 20 milliseconds. Maximum uptime is ensured through the use of integrated dual redundant power supplies supporting 24/48 VDC or 110/220 VDC/VAC.
Flexible and Modular Design
Moxa's PowerTrans Ethernet switches support up to 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 24 fast Ethernet ports. Two different Gigabit modules that support redundant ring or redundant Gigabit uplinks are available for building a fiber optic Gigabit backbone supporting copper or fiber connections. The modular design allows a flexible media configuration for specific applications, and makes it easier to implement future plant upgrades and expansions. |
