Taipei, Taiwan, May 21, 2008—A new white paper from Moxa discussing the use of sample code when developing embedded software applications is now available for downloading from Moxa's website. The purpose of this white paper is to help users understand how Moxa's sample code for embedded applications can speed up the development of embedded applications.

Serial port programming sample code
The sample code for serial port programming provides an interface for accessing Moxa's advanced ASIC chip used for serial communications, and increasing extensibility and data throughput for serial communications. The sample code also helps users access a wide range of both standard and non-standard baudrates up to 921.6 Kbps. This is an important feature when using serial devices that do not support the baudrates used in typical Windows and Linux programming. In addition, the sample code helps developers easily select the RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485 serial interface.

Socket programming sample code
