The UPort 1400 Series enables your laptop or workstation
with the ability to communicate between a USB (Universal
Serial Bus) port and up to 4 RS-232 or RS-232/422/485 serial
peripherals. UPort 1400 Series adds 4 Windows serial COM
ports via its USB connection and is compatible with new and
legacy RS-232 or RS-422/485 devices. This plug and play USB
solution is perfect for mobile, instrumentation, and point-of
sale applications.
Simplified, Hassle-free Serial Port Expansion
USB plug and play allows easy serial port expansion that requires no IRQ, DMA, or I/O address resources. Users no longer need to open the chassis or power down the system, saving on setup time and cost.
